Fuji Bamboo Garden
The world famous Fuji Bamboo Garden was founded in 1955, and located at the base of Mount Fuji in the southwestern part of Tokyo, Japan. The gardens contain more 100,000 bamboo plants including over 450 varieties of bamboo. Fuji Bamboo Garden is, by most accounts, the largest collection of plants bamboo in the world. Visitors can also enjoy a bamboo museum, which contains a wide variety of artifacts made from bamboo, things such as baskets, furniture and musical instruments.
Portland Bamboo Garden
The Bamboo Garden in Portland, Oregon are probably the most various bamboo gardens you will find in the West Coast. Visitors can walk through 16 acres of farmland filled with high bamboo shoots, including more than 300 varieties, both common and extremely rare, including giant bamboo wood.
Santa Cruz Gardens Bamboo
Bamboo plants in the Santa Cruz Gardens shoot skyward from an old rock quarry about 15 minutes south of downtown Santa Cruz. According to the manager of the gardens, Sandie Lewis, not many people know about the Santa Cruz Bamboo Gardens. Its secluded location makes a great find for those who happen to run into them or actively seeking out. Although there are many varieties of bamboo in the Gardens of Santa Cruz as there are in the two places mentioned above, the Jardines de Santa Cruz do over 20 acres. Is fun just to walk through the jungle-like paths in the shadow of the bamboo deck. There is a beautiful koi pond, a gazebo with shade and plenty of benches for rest.

The Bamboo Garden Hotel in Beijing, China was home to Xuanhuai Sheng, Minister Post of the Qing Dynasty. The hotel architecture is quite impressive, and is one of the most beautiful bamboo forests in the world.
