I added Pro One of four tail lights to my bike and use A-4477/4872 bulbs. I would like to replace these with LED lights, but you can only find replacements in 1157. They have the same look and specifications appear to be similar, but I can use the 1157 replacement LED bulbs to replace A-4477/4872?
Well, I think nobody wants to break the bad news that NO, you could not - making it a habit. Then go through the trouble to tell you how to do it anyway. ............................... ...................... This is what you can do. # 1>> The right way: Replace female with "1157" of type. That can be fast, cheap, easy,,,, RARELY. But even when it is tedious, expensive, and a big hassle,,, can always be done. "Cons" ... once the shots are converted to type 1157, You agree to use Bubs 1157. Not more than 4477 kinds, they can not be more. No Big Deal,,, 1157 is almost "universal" that can go anywhere, and in color, or LED or halogen HI-Power, etc. is a focus A-4477/4872 darker, and has almost no options to be direct-fit. I only mention this to make you aware of "what" your're done to your bike and finish with. I would not worry about it, "to hell with the 4477" # 2>> Time passes, no money can amend its 4477 Sockets. One of the "J" slots "that the lock-pin bulb goes in must be cut longer. For a deeper understanding of depth so that the base will be in focus deeper. Then the displacement of the J-slot must also be cut so that the bulb can be twisted to lock in. J or L, is the face of the slot, it becomes a higher form F There are no major differences slot modify, or terminate bulb "backwards" If somehow the wrong slot is modified and the bulb is "upside down" ... is light and brake light rear, and the Cola Light is BRAKE. Simply reverse the "Cables connection. You can cut the slot with a Dremel tool or a needle file. "Disadvantages"> None really. If you are careful modification slot and succeed in changing the "L" slot "F" Slot,,,, easily accepted type any of Bub. * 4477 in the former and original "L" slot * 1157 in the new, deeper "F" slot A decent "F" resulting from the modification of the "L withoutt" detrimental to the L,,, is actually a natural consequence. "Is From the ability to use any of bubbles no advantage? Maybe in a pinch, but not really. "To hell with the 4477" anyway. Modification of the slot will yield the ability to use good, like it or not. Sooo,,, just so you know,,, you CAN if you ever need / want ......................................... . .................................................. . # 3 Meanwhile .... Back under the shade tree ..... Just Off the TOP File "- will be located in the Base lockpin Bub. Done Deal>>> "Plug & Play" Nothing is so simple? Wellll, yes and no DISADVANTAGES: A) You have to MANUALLY East to get the lamp properly. Try it one way --- If the brake and tail are reversed Lites,,,, simply remove the bulb and rotate it so that the remaining lock pin goes into the other slot. Simple, fast, easy,,, No Big Deal B) The bulb only Pin 1 is generally falling,, (I Spose possible, but I've never seen or heard of this happening). But it could be loose,,,, good chance it will be a bit loose. You Socket can tighten a little ... Carefully and gently, and just a little. The slots form a sorta little "tab" Using needle-nose pliers,,, can twist that "card" inward in a sorta rolling motion. You do not want to tighten just making all closed. What makes oval shape, and the loser takes even. Bub is Tight "up and down" Terrible and Loose "left and right" in an oval hole,,, you know? just twist so that the area of the slot. Use the deep groove,, which lockpin have not used. If you bend the slot lockpin use the other one,,, light bulb usually goes in. You have no probs setting the socket,,, think before fold. Go slow, a little at a time --- just enough to change it. Bend & Try, Try & Bend, and so on. Bub is only until tight. Bub FIRST TEST,,, that could be tight enough and needs no work. BULB WILL BE A BIT tottering, it is a matter of opinion as to how strict the release. FLOPPY is loose. Wobbly is fine. Common sense guide ,,,,, you do not expect it to be rock solid tight. C) because you are using a "MODIFIED BULB 1157 "for having a ,,,,, is taken the standard Anytime a Socket 4477 is necessary to replace the bulb you have to use a lamp Modified. O,, a standard 4477 4477 Bub in the standard socket. That means that you can not simply connect an off-the-shelf-1157. And if I had to press the socket for the Modified 1157, A 4477 will probably be quite difficult to fit if Mangle making bad enough as they tighten,,, it might be "impossible"> Very Difficult ANY bulb to get back in after removal. So be careful when tightening the socket, and Keep in mind that one day will to replace a bulb. .............. ................................................ Quick Summary * Taking replacement is "politically correct" method " the right way "can be a hassle and cost more $ $ * Takes SLOT MOD works well and is just as spare as it is a conversion to correct profile. Offers some unnecessary) flexibility (in the bulb selection options is "free", but can be very tedious

Bulbs in Containers
$22.48
Fantastic color photographs and excellent writing make this an inspirational and accessible guide for specialty plant collectors, alpine and rock gardeners, and city gardeners, as well as anyone gardening in small spaces. Readers will learn about the ease and practicality of growing bulbs in containers-bringing year-round color and interest to one's home. Popular classic bulbs are included, as well as a range of more unusual varieties such as the delicate-looking but surprisingly unfussy corydalis, and graceful, late-spring-flowering scillas. The book details how to plan and prepare for a year of flowering bulbs-how to store bulbs during the dormant period and get them ready for planting, how to make homemade shelters to protect plants during the growing season before they begin to flower, and how to create simple accessories that show off the final display. Detailed advice on seed propagation provides gardeners an inexpensive, environmentally friendly, and satisfying method of increasing their range of species bulbs.
