New energy bill – the fluorescent lights. Your opinion?
Congress and the President have passed the new energy bill that calls for better fuel economy for automobiles in 2020. It also calls for the elimination incandescent bulbs by 2012. What are your thoughts on this matter? How does it affect? Personally, I use them now, so I think it is a great idea. What do others think?
I use them now and take them to Home Depot for recycling. They contain mercury so I definitely need be recycled! (Call your local store to make sure you take them.) How I can change the bulbs in the headlights of a Jeep Cherokee, 1994?
Can anyone can you help? I can not access the back of my headlights jeep in order to change light bulbs. There should be an easy or I have to remove the entire housing?
It `s a long, everything is done from the front of the car. No access under the hood to the back of the light boxes need to take off various bits of trim side of the dummy / indicator light. Remove the trim around the light, giving you access to the screws that secure the lamp unit in place. Remove ring care "" as `s call and the light unit will be free to take out. Be careful with the cable to the light side, the main focus is in place for the "normal spring clip." When you put everything back together make sure the lights work before you put all the trim, it `s very easy to move the focus side! The procedure is covered in detail in the Haynes manual. "I have done this work many times, and I still take at least 30 minutes to do! Indeed, the use 130/100 watts (no problem with the ITV or the cops!)
