I have a purple plant in the garage of three lights - two standard light bulbs, a fluorescent. There are plant foods and watered well, but all flowers are dead and some of the leaves turn yellow. Not long ago all the leaves were green (no flowers yet), so not worried, but now seem to go too. Anyone know what happens to this plant and how to take care of it better? Oh and also recently been transplanted to a bigger pot. The official name of the plant is Malva sylvestris (since there are a couple purple) is on the inside because it is a birthday present underground. He had a routine out early in the day and night, but it seemed that it was getting much more light throughout the interior ... sounds weird, but it already has. I can see to put him back out there again, if you think it will help.
There could be mites, not inside, why not put it out in the fresh air, wash thoroughly with mild soap and water, let out for a few weeks and see if he recovers. I can not really understand that you have in your garage, why do not they were to start?

My tulips are over, and I took the bulbs in the pot after letting them stay on the floor for a while. I searched the web, including answers but still do not know if I should keep them in the freezer or in other ways. Do I have to wash (above ground) before storing it somewhere? * I live in Ontario, Canada. - Winter here is very cold and long term. - Lives in an apartment.
"Some bulbs are not winter hardy, so these bulbs in cold climates should be lifted and stored for use next season. The bulbs can be stored in a paper bag. You must be stored in a dark, cool, dry place well ventilated. Make sure the temperature is constant. Regular inspections should be made and the bulbs that show signs of mold or decay removed. Shaking the bulbs in a plastic bag with a little fungicide is a good preventive measure. All physically damaged bulbs should be discarded. "

What makes a great gift in memory of a loved one because of breast cancer?
A good friend just lost my aunt to a 5 year battle with breast cancer. This is something very dear to my heart as my mother is a breast cancer survivor. Instead of flowers, food, love to give her something familiar in honor of her aunt that supports Breast Cancer Foundation. I'm not sure as to exactly what to do. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
You can contact the Susan G. Koman Cancer Org. They are an org that supports all cancer patients Brest and can make a donation on behalf of his aunt and her friends present. Another org to contact would be the American Cancer Foundation. Koman is your best bet. Log in to your website and you will see how you can donate and also have a toll free number for you to call and ask them. This is so kind of you. God bless.
