How I can change the bulbs in the headlights of a Jeep Cherokee, 1994?
Can anyone can you help? I can not access the back of my headlights jeep in order to change light bulbs. There should be an easy or I have to remove the entire housing?
It `s a long, everything is done from the front of the car. No access under the hood to the back of the light boxes need to take off various bits of trim side of the dummy / indicator light. Remove the trim around the light, giving you access to the screws that secure the lamp unit in place. Remove ring care "" as `s call and the light unit will be free to take out. Be careful with the cable to the light side, the main focus is in place for the "normal spring clip." When you put everything back together make sure the lights work before you put all the trim, it `s very easy to move the focus side! The procedure is covered in detail in the Haynes manual. "I have done this work many times, and I still take at least 30 minutes to do! Indeed, the use 130/100 watts (no problem with the ITV or the cops!)

I know that fluorescent bulbs produce more light and less heat, but in winter he would not want the extra heat? I have a light directly over my bed and it used to be very hot until I switched to fluorescent bulbs. Now I feel the heat coming out of it unless I put my right hand at his side. But my question is, would it be a good idea to change my incandescent fluorescent light bulbs when the winter time comes around again? Maybe not all of them, but at least 3 right above my bed to keep warm when you want. By doing this I would not have to run the heater up at night because i could use lights to keep warm until ready to sleep im. Then I would not even mind the cold that surrounds me. By the way, I live in Louisiana, so when I mean I like the cold about 50 degrees ... its not like I'm going to use bulbs to raise it from below freezing. Green Is my reasoning? or am I missing a series for hidden items that would cost me more?
Keep the CFL and pull the filament in the recycle bin. the amount of heat generated by the incandescent only outweighs the energy saving CFL. You could run the heater for a few moments before bed and still see a cost savings. Or use another blanket off the heater and save even more.
EarthLED Light Bulbs
$99.99
You want to be environmentally conscious, but doing so can be damned inconvenient. For example, replacing one of your incandescent bulbs with compact fluorescents can save about $30 of power over the lifetime of the bulb. Not bad, but fluorescents are dim, and they flicker. Plus, while they do last 10 times longer than incandescents, throwing them away is a pain in the neck due to the mercury content. These new LED light bulbs are tons brighter, don't flicker, don't require special handling, and last fifty times longer than incandescents! What's more, they use even less energy than fluorescent bulbs. The Bright Star bulb puts out as much light as a 100 watt bulb, but uses only one-tenth the power. Plus, it can burn for 11 years! All told, factoring in the cost of bulbs, that's an estimated savings of $430 throughout the life of the bulb. Sure, they cost more than a normal bulb, but they last so long and save so much in electricity costs, they more than make up for it in less than a year's usage. Choose from the wide-range of bulbs we stock.
